Murder Mystery Theater Coming to the Tea Room!

I am happy to announce that we are once again partnering with The 413 Project Theater Co. to offer another one of our wildly popular dinner theater plays! We have been doing dinner theater for 3 years and the subjects have always been historical period pieces. We're changing it up and this time it's a murder mystery!

Ken Ludwig's "The Game's Afoot" will be performed live at The Grand Tea Room for three weekends from February 7th - 23rd, 2019.

It is December 1936, and Broadway star William Gillette, admired the world over for his leading role in the play Sherlock Holmes, has invited his fellow cast members to his Connecticut castle for a weekend of revelry. But when one of the guests is stabbed to death, the festivities in this isolated house of tricks and mirrors quickly turn dangerous. It is then up to Gillette himself, as he assumes the persona of his beloved Holmes, to track down the killer before the next victim appears. The danger and hilarity are non-stop in this glittering whodunit.

Our production features a full cast of professional San Diego actors, beautiful costumes, and an immersive high tea dining experience.
